Since you were young, your grandfather always encouraged you to sharpen your senses, keeping your young minds busy with all sorts of puzzles and brain teasers. The trips to his country house during the holidays were always your personal highlight, as there was always something new and mysterious to discover, and no visit went by without you engaging in a sophisticated scavenger hunt through the corridors of the estate. After his passing last year, the property is now to be transferred to a nameless investor who had expressed great interest in the country house during your grandfather’s lifetime. However, he was never willing to part with the family seat. Full of nostalgia, you enter the old house to pick up the last personal memorabilia and say goodbye to your childhood. As you wander through the strangely empty, dark corridors, which now seem oddly unfamiliar, with your flashlights at the ready, the beam of light sweeps over the hatch to the attic of the house. The only area of the house that had always been strictly off-limits to you. Curiosity gets the better of you, and as you pull the string of the hatch and unfold the rickety ladder, a cloud of dust accompanies a piece of yellowed parchment that slowly floats to the ground.
