Imagine if a house could be lit with the flick of a switch. Electric City takes you back to Newcastle's industrial past. Joseph Swan is due to demonstrate the world's first electric light at the Literary and Philosophical Society in Newcastle. However, opponents of his invention have joined forces and are marching through town towards his offices. Swan has vanished, it is possible that threats against him and his family have forced him to flee in haste. As friends and supporters of Swan's work you start outside on the cobbled street of a Victorian tram stop. The Steampunk themed Electric City challenges you to break in to Swan's office and discover his secret laboratory. Can you save his invention from the angry mob and secure the North East's industrial heritage.
